WELCOME TO THE 2008 - 09 SEASON! We are very proud of our new facility It represents a significant investment of money and time by our coaches and others. We ask that all fencers and parents treat this club as they would treat their own homes. Main Room
Small Room Medeo Fencing Club is the one of the most successful fencing clubs in the United States, tracing our roots back to 1998. For the past decade we have been teaching children and adults the safe and exciting sport of fencing. We offer classes for beginning and experienced fencers age six through adult, as well as training for competitive fencers. Over the years we have produced National Champions, NCAA collegiate fencers, many HS State Champions, US National Team members as well as generations of recreational fencers. We are dedicated to providing instruction and training to fencers of all ages and abilities. World - Class coaches at Medeo are ready to work with everyone from beginners to elite fencers!Did you know that the Medeo Fencing Club is the only fencing club in the United States with 4 coaches currently on their staff who have served as national coaches at some point during their fencing careers?

The Medeo Fencing Club is proud to announce the arrival of Israeli National Epee Coach Yaaqov Ferdman, guest of Medeo from August 8 - 18, 2009. Mr. Ferdman, who specializes in Epee, will be on hand to assist with lessons, training and coaching during this intensive new season preparation period. Medeo strongly recommends joining us during Session 8 of our Summer Camp as well as part of Session 9 when Mr. Ferdman will be on hand. (Single days are available.)

Congratulations to Andre Rafizadeh (ME) on earning his A 2009 and Christina Efthimion (WE) on earning her B 2009. They finished First in both the men's and women's Epee, winning 2009 Mid-Atlantic Senior Sectional Championships on 05/9-10/2009 in Westminster, MD. Good Job Andre and Christina ! Congrats also go out to their parents -as well as Coach Yakov and Coach Paul!

year, with a 26-1 record. Alex Mills (Princeton) and Adam Pantel(Brown) made First Team All-Ivy Several Medeo
fencers were named to the All-Ivy teams as well:
Laura Paragano and Ben Wieder got 2nd team All-Ivy Ben Wieder (UPenn) - 2009 All Ivy Champion Medeo had three All-Americans at the NCAAs -- Ben Wieder, Alex Mills and Adam Pantel. Great job! We are proud of you!
